DogTown!
Last week, there was a post about it on 4 the Love of Animals. I have actually watched this show in the past, but it’s been off my radar. I’m so glad I noticed Aimee’s post! How can anyone resist a sweet pooch like Aristotle? He had a horrible skin condition–I mean REALLY HORRIBLE!! And with all his pain, he is still such a sweet and loving little dog–what a cuddle-bug! Of course, there’s a happy ending for him (you need to watch the show to get all the details–it’s a great story!)
Aristotle was featured on a Guardian Angel page on the Best Friends Animal Society website. The Guardian Angel Program is there to help special needs animals–and you can join! These are animals who have been through physical or emotional trauma. Or they have medical conditions that require expensive therapy. Some of these animals will live at Best Friends for the rest of their lives.
I went to bed last night with a warm & fuzzy feeling–Aristotle got his hair back and was in a forever home! Ah! What an excellent show–TV at it’s finest! (And aren’t you tired of the usual cop or hospital television?)

I am so glad that you remembered to watch, and that you blogged about it. Best Friends does such amazing work, they need all the shout outs they can get.
I Tivoed this and havent gotten to watch it yet but im so glad you told me there’s a happy ending

Didn’t mean to be a “spoiler,” but poor Ari looked so bad…I’m so glad he had a happy ending!!
I saw Dog Town on Friday night! I was in tears the whole time! First for worry about him… then tears of joy for his happy ending.. or should I say… Happy start with his new family!
